One of the finest Starduster Too's in the country. Professionally built with only 146hrs TT! The turtle deck was modified to blend into the vertical stabilizer and a nice canopy was added. Lycoming O-540-E4B5 high compression converted to fuel injection with 522hrs SMOH and excellent compressions. New fuel hoses. Never sat long with this engine (had a 4 cylinder to start) and the engine is in great shape. Brand new aerobatic MT-Prop, new Garmin GPS, new upgraded B&C starter, and a new battery. Fabric and paint are excellent. Always stored in a hangar and no damage history. Flies beautifully, wonderfully balanced, and no bad habits. More info available! After chatting with interested folks, there have been a couple clarifying points to share. The airplane is not currently registered and the reason why is I let it expire since I was planning to change the N number and it was in the shop being updated. We ran the engine every couple months to keep it fresh during that period. 2nd item is the fuselage tubing needs a scrub. It is not rust or corrosion, just needs cleaned. I didn't have a chance to knock that out before photos were taken and this weekend she'll get a scrubbing. Pics will be updated once complete :) Thanks! |
